I'm struggling with updating user information list topic. As we know the user is added when permission is being granted to the site. Ok it is clear. But from time to time users are changing Last name and also login name. I noticed that login name is updated but no user name (visible in the People picker). It generates some problems when user must be chosen because I can see both names (old and new - it is also clear because People Picker takes data from user list and AD). It looks like User Information List is not updated concerning user name so I see still old name in the SharePoint Lists. Is there any way to update the name in the User Information List?
