Content databases contain orphaned apps

Hi,

I get a warning in ‘Review problems and solutionsthat a content db contains orphaned apps.

I found this post:

https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/1cd465cb-a420-4553-8971-798b501d9a34/content-databases-contain-orphaned-apps-cannot-remove-app?forum=sharepointadmin

The steps to fix-it described in this post are:

- Find the ID in the ULS logs from the deleted site collection with the orphaned app.
- Restore the deleted site from the Central admin recycle bin.
- Remove the app and delete the site again.

My problem is that de site is already gone from the CA recycle bin. (get-SPdeletedsite)
Moving all the sites (+/- 100GB) to a new db is not an option in a production environment.
Is there another way to remove an orphaned app from the db?

Thanks in advance,

Johan
