Hi
I have been running a test environment on 1 SP Server (server2012), 1 Office Web apps server(server2008r2), 1 SQL server(server2008r2) without any issues for a couple of months.
Though I now decided to extended my server setup to include yet another SharePoint Server. So i started a new configuration.
The SharePoint setup: is now 1 Frontend SharePoint server and 1 appserver SharePoin server.
I configured all service applications onto the appserver, and configured the webapplications and site collections for enterprise search and mysite onto the Frontend server. +(any "intranet" sites)
Im using hostname for both webapplications and site collections. Sites have been setup with SSL on default port 443. I created a selfsigned certificate in server2012 with all the SAN names i needed.
Searching for files and people work without issues. I havent had any issues with AAM or IIS setup.
The problem:
I can easily access the search site and any other site collections (intranet pages..), but if i try to go to my https://home (mysite) i get the error that the userprofile could not be loaded...(There is no problem with the certificate as far as i can see, i get the green padlock like before when i had 1 SharePoint server.)
1) I checked the manage mysite webapplication, it has the userprofile serviceapplication proxy connected.
2) I tried removing all service applications and and mysite webapplication to configure it again, same issue.
Im kinda stuck:/
any ideas will be greatly appriciated
br
Bjorn
