Hello All,

We have been working on migration from 2010 to 2013 DB. We have cleaned up all the unsupported features/site templates from the DB and we are at the stage to Mount the content DB. The DB is about150GB in size.

When we are running the Mount-SPContentDatabase it fails in between with below error.

Inner Exception: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.  Parameter name: index

SPContentDatabase Name=WSS_Content_Test           5b8d9a24-b38e-4302-9992-2271da519afc

08/04/2016 13:09:29.73 powershell (0x2EB4)      0x2BFC SharePoint Foundation Upgrade            SPContentDatabaseSequence   ajywk    ERROR     at System.Collections.Generic.List`1.get_Item(Int32 index)     at Microsoft.SharePoint.Upgrade.UpdateAllUserDataSparseColumns.GetNewColumnAssignments(ListInfoRowOrdinal liro, String strSchemaXml, List`1& rgdictOut)     at Microsoft.SharePoint.Upgrade.UpdateAllUserDataSparseColumns.UpdateListsItemsAndColumnAssignments(List`1 rglistinfo)     at Microsoft.SharePoint.Upgrade.UpdateAllUserDataSparseColumns.Upgrade()     at Microsoft.SharePoint.Upgrade.SPActionSequence.Upgrade()     5b8d9a24-b38e-4302-9992-2271da519afc

So the upgrade is not complete and hence the DB shows error messageDatabase too old, upgrade required.

The upgrade fails at below stage only.

ERROR  Exception: Action 15.0.20.2 of Microsoft.SharePoint.Upgrade.SPContentDatabaseSequence failed.      ce93969d-7af2-40f7-abdb-0850db5b7b25

Test-SPContentDatabase is not showing any errors/issues.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions on this.

Appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Rahul Babar
