Hello everyone, I'm kind of a sharepoint novice, but I'm trying to perform what should be a relatively simple task, but has proven difficult. I have an older Sharepoint 2010 site, and want to move the content over to a new 2013 site on a new server. Rather than deal with upgrading, I just created a new 2013 site and granted all the current users access to the new site. The only content there was to be moved over was a document library (already moved), a calendar, and a task list. I saved both the calendar and task list as templates with the Include content box checked off, saved the templates, and imported them to the new site.
Both templates uploaded without a problem, and both appear in my template list on the new site. I was able to create an app based off the calendar template with no issues, and it worked perfectly. The new tasks template however, does not appear on the list of apps to be added, and I have no idea why. If anyone could shed some light, that would be great.
