I would appreciate your help concerning a strange search behavior in SharePoint 2013 Foundation (with March PU).
I would like to set up a SharePoint Portal which shows the user via Search result web parts an aggregation of their tasks and all project and team sites they can access. The task aggregation works just fine, but the aggregation of the team and project sites does not work properly.
I have a search web part that shows the following result (sorry, the screenshots are in German):
But if I configure the web part, the test query shows me 3 results (and thats the correct number of sites that I would expect):
So the web part is omitting 1 result and I can not imagine why. The site is there, I have access to it, the crawls work perfectly ... and it is shown in the test query.
If I leave the first part of the query out and just ask for the contentclass:STS_Web, the results get even stranger.
The test query now tells me there are 16 relevant results, however if you count the results that are shown there are only 10 results on the right side. So there is a discrepancy of 6.
And if I have a look at the web part, I am shown 11 sites.
So, something seems to be strange. Did any one of you encounter this kind of issue?
