Isn't search alerts available in SharePoint Foundation 2013???

Hi!

I've installed SharePoint Foundation 2013 an have tried out the search facility. After performing some searches I decided I wanted to try out the "Search Alert" feature. I do the following:

1. Perform a search
2. Click the "Alert me" link
3. Enter the details for the alert and click "OK

After doing this I get the following error "The was a problem configuring your
Search Alerts. It looks like you don't have a valid user profile. To verify that
your profile is configured correctly, contact your administrator.
