device channels

Hi,

We have a requirement to have SharePont 2013 working for IE7.

Initially was trying to leverage Device channels to have separete Master Page for different versions of IE. However device channels seem to be more for different browsers rather than versions.

Can someone share some thoughts on what would be required to have SP2013 site working on IE7.
