Host Named Site Collections and Load Balanced Farm

I have a found a really good source for the setting up of Host Named Site Collections at http://blogs.msdn.com/b/kaevans/archive/2012/03/27/what-every-sharepoint-admin-needs-to-know-about-host-named-site-collections.aspx

But i do not see any information on how to set this up in a load balanced farm environment.  Has anybody set up host named site collections using load balanced urls?
