We just migrated content from SP2010 to SP2013. Some sites use Discussion lists and we've noticed two issues related to attachments in discussion posts for migrated discussions:
1. The attachments icon is not present in the Ribbon.
2 When using the Insert icon in the Ribbon for a posting SP does move the 'inserted' document to a document library from the local computer, however, no link appears in the posting to which we are attempting to insert the document.
Can anyone confirm that these are known behaviors/errors?
I'll add that #2 seems only to be present in migrated discussions. New discussion lists do appropropriately show a link to the document that is 'inserted' into the posting.
