Actually we are working for a big firm in India and we are planing to configure APP environment for the same. in current scenario we have one development environment with 3 servers in one sub domain of the organisation , and we have separate AD server where all domains are maintained now we are trying to configure DNS for our APPs, so we have tried one thing as below.
Configured DNS Forward Lookup zone on Domain controllers machine and we are nslookup to it and it is resolving successfully.
Now my query, is this right way to configure DNS on domain controllers machine. because on our dev machines there is no any ADDS services configured so we can not configure Forward lookup zone on local machine.
